We offer rental service for young and new drivers, Class 7 N drivers and under age drivers. NOW WE RENT CARS FOR ROAD TESTS.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MAJOR CREDIT CARD OR WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD, YOU CAN RENT A CAR BY PUTTING DOWN A CASH DEPOSIT OR DEBIT DEPOSIT INSTEAD. PLEASE CALL US 1888 689 1231 TO ASK ABOUT RENTING A CAR WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD.
Driver’s License Requirements
Renters and additional drivers must provide a valid, authentic, government-issued driver’s license (class 7/5 or higher) issued from their country of residence. A temporary version of the driver’s license or permit is also acceptable, with supporting ID, when the original license has expired or been lost.The renter’s driver’s license must remain valid for the duration of the rental period.
Renters must be 18 years of age, or older. If you want to rent a car for a driver under the age of 18, please call us at 1888-689-1231 to inquire.
West Coast Car Rentals accepts the following methods of rental deposit. When you make a Deposit by cash or debit, we Require is a Valid Picture ID. We accept Debit cards that are issued from outside of Canada. We also accept third party Credit cards. CASH Deposits for rentals are also acceptable.
The following methods of payment are acceptable: VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, PRE-PAID ELECTRONIC CARDS, CASH Payment with DEBIT, VISA DEBIT, CASH PAYMENTS.
Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Pick-up and drop-off is at our Downtown Vancouver location, or at the Vancouver International Airport, or in the greater Richmond area with an applicable fee.
After business hours return is also an available option. Customers can pre-arrange to drop off their rental vehicle outside, using our overnight drop-off procedure and drop-box. Please note that the renter is responsible for the vehicle until a representative visually inspects and receives the vehicle the morning after drop-off.
Renters are required to carry insurance for their rental vehicles, either by paying an insurance fee along with their rental, or by using their own auto insurance coverage. Renters who wish to use their own auto insurance must provide valid documentation of insurance coverage prior to rental.
Vehicle inspections are performed with the customer representative before they take the rental vehicle. All damages and issues are to be noted on the inspection sheet prior to the vehicle leaving our lot. It is the renter’s sole responsibility to thoroughly inspect the car for existing damage and to ensure that they are marked down on the form.
Please note that our charges and rates are subject to change depending on the type of rental and/or vehicle chosen.
